My sister was busy reading a novel for her literature class so I had to keep things nice and quiet in our bedroom. That means, (sigh!) no dvd marathons for me tonight. To kill boredom, I logged on to Facebook, started visiting my friends and landed on Ely’s page. Suddenly, I let out a loud (and rather embarrassing) snort as I tried to cover a hearty guffaw after reading Ely’s Facebook status. Curious, my sister closed her book and came over to where was I was seated.

A few seconds later, my sister’s giggle made a loud duet with my own cackle as I showed her Ely’s Facebook status:

“Ely is a vegetarian, not because he loves animals but because he hates plants.”

Now who could resist that?

Not to be outdone, my sister suggested that we search the internet for amusing Facebook statuses and make a list of them so we could judge which Facebook status is the Funniest.

Our Top Funniest Status Picks

• Smells better than he tastes
• is beating his previous record for number of consecutive days alive.
• is color blind and trying to solve a rubiks cube… This could take a while…
• Is looking for something to find

• Is made of mostly foreign material

So, which facebook status is the funniest? It’s hard to decide really because your choice may not be the same as mine or the next person’s. After all, yours would always reflect your dogma. Whichever one you choose though, there is one sure thing that I know we can all agree on, and that is, Facebook’s status update feature lets users inform friends of whereabouts, actions, or thoughts in the most clever and silliest lines imaginable. It just does not give others a chance to peek into your private life and you to peek into theirs — facebook status also gives you a few laughs, a pinch of giggles, some snorts, and a whole lot of fun!

So, again, looking at our list, which facebook status is the funniest? Hmm… maybe you have already come up with a winner! Post it below for others to use.

I don’t think there exists a system can block all proxies.By using web proxy or proxy software, you still can stay with social network websites.

I have no proble with schools blocking facebook/myspace. Its a disrtraction. In school you should be learning in class not socializing, besides thats what lunch and passing periods are for!
